True North Classical Academy is seeking a Middle School Art Teacher to join our mission-driven team. We are looking for an educator with a deep appreciation for the fine arts, a strong foundation in artistic technique and art history, and a steadfast commitment to academic excellence. The ideal candidate will inspire students to recognize and create beauty, develop technical skill, and cultivate discipline and creativity through the study and practice of the visual arts within the classical tradition.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree from a fully accredited college or university
  • Certification is not required to teach at True North
  • Candidates align with the classical liberal arts curriculum and philosophy employed at True North Classical Academy
  • Candidates must view education as a vocation and be willing to go above and beyond to ensure the moral and academic success of all students
  • Background in visual arts, studio art, or art history preferred

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Compensation:
Starting salary for new teachers without experience begins at $52,470. Starting salary for experienced teachers is based on experience and expertise. Additional compensation includes:

  • Master’s supplement: $3,410
  • Doctorate supplement: $7,920
